six months
tucker is six months old! i can't believe how time has just flew by. he had his checkup last week. he weighed in at 17.2 pounds and was 25 3/4 inches long. this kid is right on track. he only had to get one shot and we had an awesome nurse. he was done crying before the band-aid was on. afterwards, we headed up to target. we had to get diapers, formula, baby food, and a new carseat. now we are ready for this growing boy to move into his new 'lounger'. matt wishes it was his size because it looks so comfortable. i'm happy it has a five point harness and for when he is older, a cupholder (like he will use it).
tomorrow we are going to jcpenney's to get his six month pictures taken. i like the pictures i take, among others, but we need those 'professional shots'. i think that when he is one, two, three, and so on, i might try to find a photographer that i like to take more 'real' pictures. not just the set up ones that we are getting. ah, he's cute no matter what kind of picture it is. i hope all goes well. his first major photo shoot. what a babe. i promise to share the shots with everyone!
i am so tired. today matt and tracy went bird hunting. they actually went to hang out with the guys up at the shack. that's okay. i just had one of those days though. tucker was good, but i am just worn down. there is so much going on and everyone thinks i need to step back and slow down. i am not into slowing down, but a little more 'me' time would be real nice. the only time i have to myself is when tucker and matt fall asleep for the night (if i stay up). seriously, here's to all the mom's out there! hoooha!
i am still trying to figure out some things with this blog setup. i can't get my picture and title right, which is driving me nuts. i really like this service i am with now though. one word, security.
well, i have to get things ready for tomorrow. we're headed for duluth as soon as tucker has breakfast. can't wait to tell you how it goes. oh, and before bed there is dishes, laundry, eh, when does it end?
