2007.01.30

it was 'one of those days'.

the morning started off great.  my mom came up to watch tucker.  i actually got a few things done this morning before melissa showed up, so that was awesome.  then i got to work.  yeah, it sucked today, bad.  for two hours i listened to a bitch session between some people in our office.  i kept hearing the same thing over, and over, and over again.  i was working on transcriptions and since my 'space' is in the middle of the office (confirmed non-smoker's break room at times) it was hard to get that done with all of the bitching.  so, that stopped and i finally thought i would get some relief from the morning of hell.  no.  i do not need to go into details, but i was wishin' and hopin' that i had millions of dollars so i could buy my own private island, go there with my family, and live there forever...no work involved.  eh, not happening.

then i came home.  ah, my beautiful baby boy...tucker!  i love him.  he lights up as soon as he sees me, then he pissed all over me.  yeah.  it was something.  i was holding him talking to my mother and all of a sudden i was like, what is dripping on my foot?  what is wet all over my hand?  why is there liquid running down tucker's leg?  egh!  it is pee!  egh!  how is this happening?  so after it was everywhere, i ran into his room to change him.  the diaper was secured perfectly, so there must of been a leak out his leg.  little stinker.  while i was changing him, corey walks in and scares me half to death (i am scared easily by people i know are in the house and come up behind me...i am a dork).  anyways...all the company left and me and tucker got down to business.  dinner.  the first spoonful he had, he blew it right back at me...all over.  terrific.

then i had a phone conversation with eh, leonardo (names changed to protect witnesses) who informed me of some very bullshit things going on.  i'm not even mentioning anything else besides the fact that i was so mad that i think there was literally smoke coming out of my ears.  some people really have the nerve, i tell you.  if people just spent more time being nice, doing what they should do, and not being effing jackasses, this world might be a little brighter of a place.  sickening crap i tell you.  again, i was thinking of that island...

so today was, 'one of those days'.

oh, and to top it off, i found out from my dad that natalie is the sickest she has ever been.  she has to go back on all of her treatments, she is going to be out of school for a little while until she is back up to par, and it JUST KILLS ME.  to think, using stem cells would actually cure her.  that JUST KILLS ME.  one blood test, to look for over 60,000 issues and fix them.  i mean, i do not support cloning and all that other jazz, but if it can help sick people all over this world, what is the deal?  the doctors tell us that by the time natalie is a teenager, they will be using stem cells to cure people with 'stills disease', if not here, then in europe.  i just hope it doesn't tear her down too bad before then.  again, prayers!

weekend recap)  this weekend was pretty mellow.  saturday we stayed home and got some things done around the house.  sunday we went and had a late lunch with my dad, keri, natalie, kelly, dustin and tina (oakley too).  it was nice to get together and catch up.  we are all so busy and even living in the same town it is hard to keep up.  we are going to do it once a month.  whoohoo!
