dustin + tina
dustin and tina's wedding this weekend (07.07.07) was beautiful. everything about it was awesome.
the bride was beautiful, the groom quite handsome himself. the weather was hot, but the breeze made it better. the ceremony was perfect, dan didn't loose the rings. heehee. tina's two friends that sang (who were sisters) had amazing voices...they did a great job. there were many good friends and family that were there to witness them become husband and wife...gotta love it.
the reception was a blast. richard and my dad both made toast's to the couple. i wish i would have had them on tape. dan (the best man) had the best 'best man' toast i have ever heard...it was incredible. something so funny and sweet...who knew a guy could pull that off? the slideshow was great (the person who put that together must be the coolest...hahaha). a wonderful evening filled with awesome memories.
the next morning...wasn't so great. my head was pounding and i am still trying to recover from lack of sleep. i guess that is what happens when you end up in the casino at 4am eating nachos and hanging with your buds before finally going back to the room to pass out. note to self: go to bed after the dance next time. please.
i wish i would have taken more pictures. i wish i would have actually taken my camcorder out of my room. oh well. what do you do? i realized that you don't have as much time and energy to do all that when you are chasing a little dude around the entire time. i am sure i am forgetting about a lot that i wanted to share from the weekend, but to tell you the truth, you just had to be there!
something funny: my child fell asleep while i was dancing with him...we were dancing to footloose! he put his head on my shoulder and was out...with the speakers blaring and everything. wow. do you think he was tired by chance? gotta love that. then i danced my first slow song with my little dude...while he slept on my shoulder. ah, love.
so, now that i have actually posted, i will work on getting an album up from the wedding. i edited one picture last night...before i fell asleep in the chair. if anyone reading this has pictures/video from the wedding, get it to me. please!
and finally, congratulations dustin and tina. i love you both so much.
you are the perfect pair...best friends indeed.
