true confessions.
confession one: sometimes i drive too fast. i don't want to label myself as a bad driver, because i believe i am actually a good driver. i've had defensive driving courses, i've put in many, many, many miles traveling back and forth to work...i consider myself skilled at the craft. i mean really, how hard is it anyways? and no, i'm not pretending to be a good driver...i know i am. right melissa? :) god, please don't jinx me now.
anyways, on monday night, i was pulled over on my way home from work. i could see the speed limit sign (55 mph) but i wasn't quite there yet. so, i was going about 45/30. okay, that's speeding. i want to say that typically they give you a 15 mph cushion (based on personal experience). so, the officer (whose name shall remain confidential) pulled me over. i rummaged through my purse and found my license. he walked up and said, 'do you know why i stopped...oh, it's you'. isn't that funny. i'm 'known'. don't think it is because i am pulled over a lot. okay, maybe it is, but remember, i worked in the ol' sheriff's office for over five years. so being 'fast' isn't the only reason i'm 'known'. anyways, he took my license and brought it back to his car. he came back a few minutes later, gave it back to me and said this was just a warning. okay, i wanted to tell him i loved him, but a simple thank you was all i could muster.
so, that's kind of how my week started. matt and his dad have been busy working on the house every night after work. so, that means i have actually made dinner every single night...since sunday. confession two: i think this is a record since tucker has been born. matt has been amazing and cooks quite a bit. he is so good at it! but, none the less, they are busy and i've been cooking (and baking). i'll post pictures of the house tonight...they hope to finish it this weekend!
confession three: i hate deer. if i could kill them in my yard in town, i would. they have destroyed my gardens this year. destroyed. add that with me having little to no time to make the best of what they have left and the gardens are now an eyesore in my opinion. nice. spend money and you might as well let those fricken animals eat the benjamin's right out of your hand. errrrrr. i thought about shooting the deer with paintballs, but i figured that would be obvious when my yard was covered in paint and so were the deer. hmmm. if anyone else has any ideas, let me know. i'd love to cause them stupid things pain.

HAHAHAHAHA...yes you're an excellent driver, as am I:)
