cold as ice.
i am at home today. the northland was covered in a layer of ice this morning so i decided to stay home. the added bonus was that my mom still made it up to my house. that means i get to hang out with her today too! the roads were not great and they were advising no travel, so i took a personal day. heck, all the schools are even closed today. looks like a lot of us got the day off!
this morning i have already cleaned the bathroom top to bottom, did laundry like a fool (washing bedding and whatnot), cleaned my bedroom up, put away some dishes, and took my printer back out to print some shots of the little dude. i need to frame a few new shots of him - he is growing too fast!
well, i'm hoping to post a virtual tour of the house at some point since that seems fun. then you can all give me wonderful ideas on what i should do with this place. i need them!

I love days like that when you get so much done. I gives you such a feeling of accomplishment; especially when it is least expected!

i made it, yes i did on the icy 65 mile journey to see my little tucker bug. there was no way after not seeing him for 15 days that i was going to let icy roads or anything else keep me away from him. and i will tell you it was so worth my trip. yes my little grandson can count to 10. he woke up this morning snuggled up to grandma :) he was sleeply opening his eyes and looked at me and said "gramma" and then looked over at mom and said "momma" then he sat up in bed and jenny asked him to count to 10 and by gosh my little gomper counted to 10, i about fell off the bed!! yes he's quite the little smarty pants. the a,b,c's, twinkle twinkle little star, next who know's what he'll be doing. he is quite the little surprise guy. i love him so much. can't wait to see him again. not to forget it was nice to have jenny at home today. we hadn't spent this much time together in many months!!! i still need more time like that with her. thanks for the day honey! i love you :)
