giddy and nervous: nice combo.
when i got home today and looked at the package sitting on my counter, i got a little giddy. you see, it was my first print order i had done through mpix. i had ordered some shots of meg at different sizes and whatnot to see what they would all turn out like. well, they are awesome! i am so happy with them. now, i'm giddy about placing my next order! i am such a dork. where do you guys print your photographs? if you are not happy with what you are doing now, you should check out mpix.
the workday went by so slow! i'm getting ready for a presentation i have thursday. i just want it to be over! my nerves are going to kill me! do any of you get super nervous when you have something 'major' going on: a presentation, a deadline, a special event, a big meeting? i do. somehow i usually manage to keep my cool without anyone knowing my legs feel like freakin' jello or that my guts are in a knot. any suggestions to deal with this stress/nervousness/anxiety would be more than welcome!

i've heard great things about mpix :)
good luck on your presentation!

hmm I may have to check mpix out. I don't know what to tell you about the nervousness, other than just take a deep breath and let it out.

I haven't found a printing place I love. I will try this! :)
I totally clam up when I have to talk in front of people...get sick to my stomach...the whole nine yards. Good luck!

Oh, I use many different places to print pics. I really like shutterfly though. I'm thinking of getting a print package for the year, I would spend at least that much.
As far as ways to calm down, no advice. I hate big presentations and well I don't work anymore so I have no experience as of late. Good luck though!

We usually get our prints done at Costco. But, I like this idea of printing online. I might have to check it out!

Oh I can so relate to being nervous over presentations! I all but get sick! Hang in there. I'm sure you will to great on Thursday :)
Glad you are happy with your prints from mpix. I've checked out their site but never ordered anything. I usually get mine printed at a camera shop around the corner. So far I have been happy with them. What kind of finish/paper did you get them on? This might be a silly question, but did you size them to the size you were ordering before uploading? (like if you got a 5X7 did you edit it to a 5x7 before hand)
Have a great day today :)

Mpix kicks that ass. I love them.

I print my pics over on Winkflash.com and have been fairly happy with them. They always run a 1/2 off special for only 6cents a 4x6 print and thats great when you end of ordering like 120 pictures every other month! They only downside is the paper quality I wish a little thicker. I believe it is Fuji film paper. Anyways, they go into a scrapbook and arent handled by people anyways, so I dont let that get to me. But I will head over and check out what mpix has to offer.
