i got a ton of crap done around the house tonight. then i put tucker to bed. and fell asleep with him. again. for the second night in a row. DOH! i hate when that happens.
after work (and before falling asleep) i got a ton of stuff done. i cleaned the floors (63 percent complete), did laundry, did a load of dishes (okay, i just loaded the dishwasher, but whatever), cleaned out our fridge, ordered my brother's birthday present, watched a few people sing on idol, and of course checked my email and facebook wall. i had the best of intentions to finish cleaning the floors, get our taxes
finished started, and do the shred when tucker went to sleep - but it didn't happen. i failed.
in other EXCITING news:
this password sucks. i hate having to log into my own blog. stupid.
the company where matt works is going to have an 'extended shutdown' during the month of april. what this means is they will be stopping production for the entire month. they have downs that usually only last a few days, but with the economy in the freakin' dump, the demand for pellets has obviously decreased. there will be some people that still are kept on to do work, but about 2/3's of the employee's will be sent home during the month. it is a scary thing. i'm hoping this is just a bump in the road.
i am so excited for ashley and david's little girl to arrive. why you ask? well, because i can't wait to meet her (and have a little photoshoot too)!
i signed up to be in another photography workshop. i've taken this one before, but i'm going back as alumni. oh yeah, sounds sweet huh? it rocks because the price is way cheaper and i can work at my own pace. maybe this time i might actually get more of my assignments done.
speaking of photography workshops, i am going to post my thoughts on the photographer's workshop with karen russell in a post this week. i've had SO many people ask me about it and now karen wants our feedback as well. i can't wait to share.
my arms are super sore from kickboxing last night. i've been rehearsing in my mind how i can ask my cousin (the instructor) if she would like to come live with me for a few months and basically be my health and fitness warden. she basically rocks. my dream is to be able to do pushup's as fast as her.
did i tell you i was having issues with my car? because i am. for the past 3+ weeks, matt has been trying to figure out what in the hell is wrong with old betsy (that's my car). she keeps throwing out codes at them on the scanner like it's nobody's business and we keep pumping cash into her like it's going out of style. we just ordered another sensor for $170 so let's hope THAT does the trick. otherwise i might drive it down to central entrance and leave the windows down, hoping that someone TAKES THE POS.
i'm tired. the blog needs a new look. the daily snap is a month behind. i'm just too tired to do anything about those things right now. oh well. maybe tomorrow.
