another blogger hosts something called 'friday night leftovers'. at the end of what has seemed like the longest week in history, i have a lot of crap that needs a place to land. hope you enjoy chewing on all this goodness.
- we are residing our garage. it will finally match our house. we resided our house like a bazillion years ago. okay, maybe it was only 2007, but still. i HATED that our house and garage didn't match. this year i decided that it needed to change. i told matt we needed to finish the garage before starting on the kitchen. i guess we BOTH decided, but whatever. we use our tax returns every year for stupid house projects instead of fun vacations. everytime i go into my kitchen i question the rationale behind my decision to put the garage before the kitchen. and everytime i am home and not on some sandy beach with a cocktail in my hand, i question my rationale to be responsible.
- our kitchen sucks. the old tile is chipping and squeeking. the metal cabinets are the originals that were installed when the house was built. the countertop is a hodgepodged mess. the walls are half drywall and half fake painted brick. i mean, you should be SUPER jealous.
- do you have to actually buy lottery tickets to win the lottery? you do? oh frick.
- speaking of oh frick, did i tell you that tucker starts kindergarten on tuesday? dude.
- i recently googled 'vindictive monster bitch' and the image of someone i know popped up. google really DOES know everything. amazing.
- i am in love with the band, foster the people. specifically, i have a crush on cubbie fink. i've only heard like three of their songs, but their good looks make up for anything i might not like.
- i need some new clothes. i'm sick of the ones i'm wearing.
- i finally finished reading 'two kisses for maddy' a couple weeks ago. i knew the whole story starting out because i am a faithful reader of matt's ... but wow. this is the first book that brought me to tears every time i picked it up. LOVE. i've just started 'a stolen life' by jaycee dugard. can't wait to get some free time to actually get into it. then, i think i want to get rob lowe's book for kicks (and because he is hot).
- did i mention my fairy godmother mom bought me an ipad 2? part of me thinks she is going through some kind of mid-life crisis, but she gave me good reasons behind the awesome gift. i really don't think THANK YOU is quite enough. oh, and the ipad 2 ... is AWESOME.
- i'm addicted to PINNING. who creates these obsessions? damn them!
- i also am looking for a cleaning lady. and yes silly, i already looked in the mirror. that one must be hiding.
wow. i know there is more, but i think i've given you all enough to chew on. :)
LOVE this post! I hear ya on the house stuff. We built our house brand spankin' new and would you believe it that not a single room is all the way decorated? yeah, awesome! I can't believe your little guy starts Kindergarten. When did all our our kids get so big? Stop it already, right?

I have a minor addiction to pinning as well. I've been good at only allowing myselft to view no more than 2 pages and then I need to go be productive.

Holy crap with the google of vindictive monster bitch, but you are right, google does not everything.
Our start of kindergarten actually went okay. It's amazing the difference I can already see in her already after just two weeks. Everyone told me it would happen, but I just didn't believe it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your kind words. We made the tough decision with Rizzo yesterday so I've been trying to get myself together since then.

I am excited for your little " dude" to start kindergarten, he is soooo excited to learn. It will be strange on Tuesday to not have my tucker bug in tow, but only for one week, then I'll see him on his Fridays, awesome. Hope to still help you out a little on the housework thing, but now that I have wheels, me and my boys are on the go quite abit :). As for the iPad, you deserve to have a toy to less your stress, etc, etc. I love mine too! Oh and yes, what is pinning?? Love ya!
