okay, so i played a horrible game of blog tag and got slapped back with this by alison. its not so bad though because i could really use some posting assistance this weekend. here we go...
seven things i am thankful for include, but are not limited to:
1. my family. every single one of them. well, except for crazy aunt bertha. wait, i don't have a crazy aunt bertha. :) they are always there when i need them. i can't count all the times i've used my 'please help me at the last minute' card. i'm glad that we live so close to most of our family. i love my husband. i adore my little guy. family rocks.
2. my friends. we have really awesome friends. we have friends we've known since preschool, we have friends we've known since grade school, we have friends we've had since high school, we have friends we've had since college, we have friends we've had since having a kid...they all rock. many of them are reading this - here is a big shout out to you all!
3. good jobs. matt and i are very lucky to have good paying jobs with benefits so we can support our family. i'm not into talking about work on here so that's all i will say about that.
4. the camera. i am thankful that every camera i have ever owned has helped me to capture moments that are frozen in time forever. i love to look back at all of them and remember that moment, day, or event. i just feel that someday my grandkids will be able to look at all my pictures and really hopefully be able to look into the life their grandmother lived.
5. faith. even though i do not go to church, i believe in god. i know he has a plan for each one of us. i believe in the power of prayer and am grateful to have been on the receiving end of that power. what it comes down to is you gotta have faith.
6. the internet. i mean seriously, i wouldn't be able to share this with you otherwise! oh, and i like to do like a million other things online.
7. life. i know that sound dorky, but really. i'm thankful for everyday. we are here and we are living it! don't waste one day. my dad has always said 'carpe diem'. it is like his motto. i think we all have to have that in the back of our minds as we go about our daily lives. make each day worth it. live.
These are so nice. Friends since preschoo? Alls I have to say is "wow." Mine only go back as far as junior high. I agree with the carpe diem too!

Wow, that was a lovely life-affirming list - well done! Now I feel bad for just being thankful Anna takes 3 hour naps (which bit me on the bum yesterday when she failed to nap AT ALL).
Only one more week of NaBloMoFo to go!
