holy fricken snow. winter came in with a POW!
the blizzard that hit us yesterday made last night very interesting. for one, i couldn't wear my cute shoes i bought a few weeks ago. i had to wear more 'boot' like shoes so my toes would not FREEZE OFF in the foot of snow we had. it snowed for about about 12 hours straight. when we left the party last night, there was about a food of snow on our truck. then we plowed our way back to the house and into the driveway. the drifts were as high as my waist. sweeeet. i love snow when i don't have to trudge through it in my dress clothes! a bonus was that i actually won our table centerpiece last night. there were other prizes that would have been nice, but it is cute...and festive.
this morning i got to take a few pictures. i took some of matt plowing our yard. yeah, he's a boy. that means he doesn't just plow what we need to, he plows half the yard in order to have 'a place to push the snow later'. i get it but i still think he just likes to play and trash my frozen tundra. errrrr. tucker watched him for a while and made 'vrrrrruuumm' noises while spitting all over himself and the window when watching the wheeler go by. after we were sick of watching matt plow around the yard, tucker decided it was time to practice his yoga. i mean really - this kid cracks. me. up. every. day.
we will probably go outside this afternoon and i hope to get some more pictures. i am a little scared to bring my camera and my child out in the snow together so we'll see. i might go take a few shots when he is napping. snow just makes everything so pretty this time of year. :)
I really hate the snow. I don't know how I grew up in MN, but I still hate it. I really could do without winter! It's nice to hear that other people like snow though!

love the yoga shot!!! can't wait to see him on thursday. i have to call and talk to him before then. looks like you got a little more snow than we did, and we got enough for the first dump anyway. it's going to be a white christmas.

Wowsers! That's a lot of snow! It must be the same storm that's supposed to get us tonight in MA. We're on the water though so we ususally just end up getting a rain/snow mix wich just means a sloppy mess!
