you might have seen this kid before on my blog:
yeah. it's my i-will-not-wear-underwear-or-go-on-the-potty-because-i-am-stubborn-as-hell child. well, this morning i hid all the diapers and spent the better part of the morning working my magic as to why we are going to wear underwear. i also told him he should use his potty before his friends do. he's big into NOT sharing these days so i figure i will use it to my advantage this weekend. i'm pretty sure there will be pee running down his leg before he realizes what's up, but heck, i've got a washing machine and a bathtub. we're golden. :)
this weekend we don't have any plans and since we're supposed to get another 16 inches of snow, i figured it'd be a good weekend to make encourage my kid to use the potty. he's had the underwear on for a half hour. wish me luck.
by the way, i took this picture the other day. he was playing with his new tool set from derek and jenn. i love how he was 'taping' his own mouth shut. :)
I hear ya-Evan got tons of big boy underwear for xmas and he could care less! He'd rather inform me when he needs to be changed. It's pretty rediculous most days.

after just talking to you on the phone, you had an interesting day, can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring, i loved the comment about how your next one will be trained by the time he/she is 6 months old, too funny. just gotta love him.
i just love the headder, he looked like he was havin "one fine day" outside in the cold white stuff.
sure enjoyed my day with him on friday. he's still my most favorite little guy in the whole world. can't get enough of him!!

GOOD LUCK!
I wish my guy was ready but he isn't. However he strips himself constantly whenever he pees or poops! It's frustrating!

I feel your pain! My own daughter, who will be 3 at the end of March, could care less about going in the potty. This morning she had another "accident" which entailed me rambling on and on about how we go poopy in the potty. She knows full well what she's doing and honestly I think she just doesn't want to grow up. Who can blame her?

Good luck! My boy didn't become fully-potty trained during the day until he was a month away from his 3rd birthday. We used pull-ups at night until he was about 4 and a half...
Patience and a sense of humor help. As do non-carpeted floors. ;-)

Good Luck~ My oldest was stubborn too! And it took a while, until she wanted to do it. The harder I pushed the longer she held off grrrr...darn kids.
